Sunshine City Scare is a two-day celebration that will honor horror in all it’s media types. The new event is on May 13-14 at the Coliseum and tickets are on sale now. Guests include six popular actors and a roster of Florida’s cosplayers. Additionally, the robust programming schedule of panels and contests provides fans with constant activities both days. Sunshine City Scare is especially excited to introduce a Fan Art Contest where creators can compete for $200 in cash prizes!
Fan art is any artwork featuring characters from the movies, anime, or other medias we love! It’s how many artists begin drawing and a great way to make friends in the community!
Attendees of all ages are welcome to enter the Sunshine City Scare Fan Art Contest on Sunday, May 14th! Please keep fan art pg-13.
This contest is an in-person and timed, art race where contestants will compete for $100 in cash prizes. Please remember art isn’t about being the “best.” It’s about having fun and expressing yourself! We want to see all kinds of creations!

Stop by the Information Desk Sunday morning to sign-up for the Art Contest.
Art materials will be provided, but only consist of paper, colored pencils, crayons, graphite pencils, and markers.
You will have 45 minutes to complete your artwork
